Make your black colors pop! When using heavy ink areas of black in your designs, create a black with 60% Cyan, 40% Magenta, 40% Yellow and 100% Black, This will give you a very dense (rich) black on all your solids, do not however, use this on small text or small solids that are less that 1/4 inch.
Warning, when using default black in programs like photoshop, there are ink density issues that you may run into. Make sure you take a reading of your blacks, often you will see a black that is only 90% black. Photoshop will do this to minimize total ink desity, to minimize offsetting the sheets or plugging the dots in halftones, but the end result is not very nice. So double check your blacks to make sure the black is rich.
